About me

My paintings tell my story much better than words… I guess it's the common feeling of everyone who creates art of any sort… But must it's a must ;-), so let me think of a few words that will introduce me…

Cieszyn - beautiful small town in the South of Poland. The place where I was born over 30 years ago is still my hometown. Inspired by its people, environment, nature I made there my first steps in painting & drawing. As a young boy loved in works of great painting masters: Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Matejko, Gierymski and others I soon realized that nothing else than painting can be my real life passion. But heart & passion is not everything. To create you also need to have skills, tools and knowledge. So I developed this great passion during studies on Faculty of Fine Arts at University of Silesia.

The child has grown, but the dream hasn't gone. Today need of painting still controls my thoughts and soul. I specialize in portraits. I paint them both based on photographs and on live posing. I treat every portrait as a challenge. Every face is build of emotions, feelings, thoughts, joy or sorrow. Every face is different. My ambition is to show all these features on painting canvas as close to original and as possible.
