Portraits of loved ones, group portraits of beloved family, images of loved ones who have already left us. the power of a painted portrait cannot be overestimated. It captures moments, shows the beauty of memories, and helps us recall the happiest moments of our lives. It is less fleeting than memories and more tangible than photographs collected on a computer hard drive. However, if a portrait is to have such power, it must be made with exceptional care and attention to every, even the smallest, detail. It must be extremely realistic.
A portrait that captures the heart and brings back memories must have something about it. Sometimes it's a tiny detail, like a perfectly shown mischievous twinkle in the eye of a six-year-old whose portrait will decorate the main wall in his proud grandmother's house. Another time it will be the love and devotion flowing from the wedding portrait of a couple in love. A good artist will notice such little details right away and will certainly highlight them appropriately, creating an extremely realistic portrait to order.
As a creator, I follow several rules that help me create extremely realistic portraits. First of all, it's a suitable photo based on which I will create a painting. The photo must be clear and of good quality. The characteristic features of the main character must be visible, such as a wide smile, long eyelashes or rosy cheeks. The details that are most associated with a given person are also important. If your beloved grandfather smoked a pipe, why wouldn't it be in the painting? If the sister being portrayed wears characteristic jewelry, maybe it is worth also showing this element in the painting that is so associated with her person?
Realistic custom portraits, which I most often create, are intended to show a given person, not only their physical likeness, but also their emotional state and personality. These three aspects captured with paints and a brush ensure a perfect final effect that pleases my clients for many years.
